The Anzenberg is a basalt cone 593 m above sea level. NN and is located two kilometers east of Kemnath on the B 22 Kemnath-Schönreuth in the district Tirschenreuth. It belongs to the tertiary volcanoes of the northern Upper Palatinate and consists of a Schlotbrekzie. A cross adorns the pointed rock group called Anzenstein on the rocky summit. Please pay attention during the ascent and descent, as it is very steep and in bad weather even more critical.
