The confluence of the Reuss and Aare rivers is located in the so-called "water castle of Switzerland," a unique river landscape in the canton of Aargau. A very interesting area for hiking. If you plan well, you can hike around three rivers - at the water castle of Switzerland.

Here, along the Reuss, you come to this railway crossing, the last Reus bridge before it flows into the Aare. On both sides of the bridge there are very beautiful, narrow "terraces" that stretch over the Reuss, where you can safely pass under the bridge. On the east side there is a beautiful Känzeli viewing point, with a bench where you can observe the estuary, the railway bridge and the whole surrounding area. On the west side of the railway bridge, behind the bunker, there is a barbecue area with seating. From there, along the banks of the Aare, through a beautiful hiking trail, with beautiful old trees, left in their natural state, you reach the impressive Rohrbrücke. To the left of there you can see Brugg, to the right - Lauffohr.
