Here at the Wadenhäuser mill, in the corner of the street curve, there was an imposing facility until 1925, the Luse ore washing plant.
As early as the 1880s, brown iron stone was removed here in the opencast mine. The complex burned down completely in 1895 and was then rebuilt larger and more modern.
