The swampy area of the Pasbeek is located in the valley near Hannerden. A jungle of dense vegetation used to grow here. The Pasbeek and other streams cut into the landscape on their way to the Dender. Lower areas remained swampy all year round. Pools remained standing after each flooding of the Dender. Rainwater accumulated after every heavy shower. It is recommended to wear waterproof footwear here. Enjoy the scenery.
