Steinhude Drebelkahn

Here is actually a Drebelkahn:The Drebelkahn has taken its final berth on the Drebelanlage at the pier in front of the beach promenade. A special tourist attraction and a reference to traditional fishing have thus been preserved.Thus, the proverbial sinking of this formerly essential prerequisite for the pull net fishing could be saved in front of the pier. The application had to be repeatedly postponed due to the low water level. On the initiative of Heinrich Engelmann, the costly action of salvaging the barge and the restoration of the drebel system took place after Heinz Schweer had made it available free of charge.
