Water gushes out of the stones on the slope, the Grützenbrunnen. The table shows that the old drinking water collection was removed and the source area was redesigned as part of the LIFE-Nature project to protect the limestone tuff sources in the Frankenalb. The habitat for special spring inhabitants (e.g. fire salamanders) was restored with great effort. The source lives! Very nice.
