Information:
A side valley of the Rote Weißeritz river. In 2002, most of the valley was reforested, having previously been a meadow valley. The Langegrundbach stream drains this area, except for the culverted upper section, which has been converted into farmland.
At the confluence with the Rote Weißeritz, the foundations of a steel girder bridge, built in 1882, belonging to the old Weißeritz Valley Railway line, remained until the Elbe flood of 2002.
