The Torgau market square is the center of the city. Here is the town hall, which was built in the Renaissance style between 1563 and 1578 and is an important building of the Saxon Renaissance. The market fountain was built in 2005, made of sandstone and bronze, with a pillar with a figure of a juggler in the middle, and figures of animals and musicians spouting water on the edge of the fountain. .On the side of the market is the Moor pharmacy with the Moor figure above the entrance area
