On the way over the Rosenboden you have a wonderful view and it offers umpteen possibilities to rest on the meadow or on one of the many benches and just enjoy the view. The direct ascent from Iltios to the Chäserrug leads up on an easy hiking trail and is also not a problem for less experienced hikers (of course there are a few meters to climb, but the route is not demanding).
