Hiking

The Bisamberg transmitter was a medium wave transmitter and was built in 1933. After it was destroyed in 1945, operations resumed in 1959 and the transmitter was used until 2008. The transmission masts were dismantled in 2010 (by blasting), until then the transmission mast with a height of 265 m was considered the tallest structure in Austria.
