Directly on Phoenixplatz corner Hochofenstraße is the stairway to the Phoenix West Skywalk. You have to go over 99 steps to reach the Skywalk at a height of 26 meters.
The Skywalk is a catwalk with railing which was mounted on an old gas pipe and leads over the Konrad Zuse road directly to the blast furnace V which you can also visit. From there it goes again to a height of 65 meters with an impressive panoramic view of Dortmund. The Skywalk is not open to the public and is chargeable.
