The Minden Museum was opened in 1922 in the East Westphalian town of Minden. The museum houses extensive collections on the history, national and folklore of the former Abbey of Minden and the present-day Minden-Lübbecke district. [1] After an extensive reconstruction of the buildings, it was reopened in October 2012 for the 100th anniversary and now houses an exhibition space for special exhibitions in addition to an exhibition on the history of the city of Minden.
