For more than 30 years, people full of hope have been making pilgrimages to the first German border and peace chapel in Burggrub. 14 guest books bear witness to the longing for peace of the Germans. The construction of the chapel is intended to commemorate the former unfortunate border and to remind people of peace in the world. When the wall and the border were dissolved, the evangelical parish built this chapel right on the border. As a sign that walls can fall peacefully.
