In 1841, the owner of the "Heumühle Mobendorf", Mr. Christian Gottlob Uhlmann, bought a piece of land from the hereditary judge Ludwig Karl Loch and had a spinning mill built on it. Based on his property, he named the spinning mill "Neu-Heumühle". From 1954 production is stopped and a children's holiday camp is set up by the VEB Paraffinwerk Webau/Weißenfels. From 1994, a home for asylum seekers was operated here. After the flood of 2002, the old buildings had to be demolished in 2005. Now there is a new dormitory in the old place.
