The Dunbergbroek is bordered on both sides by a massif of Diestian hills: in the north the Beninksberg and Wijngaardberg, in the south an extension of the Kesselberg massif (Chartreuzenberg and Speelberg). It is a plant paradise with flowery hay meadows in late spring and spring flora in the forests in early spring.

The hay meadows in the Dunbergbroek are mown once or twice a year. A herd of fox-headed sheep takes care of the after-grazing. But we want to let the largest area of the area evolve into natural forest. Purchasing it is necessary to be able to restore the natural (high) water level and to prevent the soil from being ploughed up by heavy forestry machines every few decades (in terms of a forest, every few minutes).
