Tips
This vast body of water on the edge of the city is the favorite promenade of the people of Dijon. It owes its name to Canon Kir (to whom we also owe the famous aperitif!), a former mayor of Dijon who had this artificial lake built in 1964. Every summer, it takes on the air of a seaside resort with "Dijon Plage" .

Artificial lake west of Dijon. Nice for a family outing, many playgrounds. A beach but the water is really dirty (despite what the town hall says!).
