The “Fuschter Mill” stood here for 400 years until 1950
It was built in 1548 by the community of Fuchsstadt and was the subject of several contracts between the Prince-Bishop of Würzburg and the Abbot of Fulda.
In 1651 the community sold the mill. The owners were Wilhelm Müller until 1737. 1797 Adam Zoll,
1804 Johann Vierheil, 1824 Philipp Wagner. The last owner was the Bayer / Keller family
Fox City. The buildings were demolished in 1950/51 because they were dilapidated.
