    St Catherine's church in Cossall is a Grade II listed building. It dates from the 13th century, rebuilt in 1840s.
    Churchyard includes a monument to those who fought at Waterloo.
    Nearby are the Willoughby alms houses, church cottage the home of Louie Burrows (DH Lawrence's fiance), and the local museum.

    The Willoughby Almshouses in Cossall, Nottinghamshire, are a historic Grade II* listed building with a rich history of philanthropy and a controversial recent development, built in 1685 by George Willoughby of Wollaton Hall to house four men and four women of the "deserving poor".
