Plant 3 of the VEB Preß- und Schmiedewerk Brand-Erbisdorf stood here until the turn of 1990. In my school days I went to some PA lessons here.
Today all the factory buildings are no longer there. Only the old office and porter buildings have been preserved and are used as a residential building.

In 1764, the Langenau iron hammer was actually located here, which was installed in an old smelting works. There were two tail hammers driven by a water wheel. From 1903, a steam-powered hammer was used. This developed into a steam hammer mill. In 1936, a second forge hall was built in the Brand-Erbisdorf steam hammer mill.
