Inside the house, which is considered the second oldest inn in Bavaria, there is a brick dating from 1382, and the ground floor dates back to the 15th century. The half-timbered structure, based on its form, dates back to the 16th century (the cellar door on the west side bears the date 1592). Dates above the front gable windows indicate that further extensive construction work was carried out on the "Princely Schwarzenberg Inn" in 1739.
