the old entrance gate to Hagenbeck Zoo is on the corner of Hagenbeckallee and Hagenbeckstrasse. It used to be the main entrance to the zoo, today a fence has been put up through the bars of which you can only get a glimpse of the imposing gate. If you are inside the zoo, you can admire the gate up close and walk through it.
The gate is currently being renovated - it is packed.
