The palace in Tychy was erected in 1685 as a hunting manor of the Pszczyna princes from the Promnitz family. In the years 1766–1782 the prince of Pszczyna, Friedrich Erdmann von Anhalt-Köthen-Pleß, commissioned its extension, which gave the building the form of a palace residence.
After the construction of the hunting lodge in Promnice, the functions of the palace in Tychy decreased and it was handed over to the forestry office. In the 19th century, the Hochbergs founded the Browarniany Park around the facility, which gained a cultural and recreational function.
