An information board provides information about the interesting history and long tradition of the Wachendorfer Glockenstuhl. Since the ceremonial inauguration of the belfry on August 29, 2009, the bell has rung at 11 a.m. when a Wachendorf citizen dies and at 6 p.m. when a child is born. Numerous plaques testify to the "new citizens" of the place.
