Hiking
The founder of the Lanz tractor company donated a hospital to the Lindenhof district at the beginning of the 20th century, which has since been demolished. The chapel was part of the hospital and was saved from demolition by a civic association. The association had the chapel dismantled before demolition and rebuilt on its current site in 2001.
Today, it is owned by a civic association and can be rented for weddings, parties, seminars, and other events.

"The Lanz Chapel Lindenhof was part of the Lanz Hospital, which the entrepreneurs and patrons Julia and Heinrich Lanz (inventors of the tractor) gave to the Lindenhöfers. The hospital was demolished, the Lanz Chapel was saved by the citizens: the sandstones were removed bit by bit , stored and rebuilt with great support."
