Until 1926, the mill belonged to the parish, then bought and took over the miller Adam Nikolaus Schoof from Westrhauderfehn the mill. Schoof had already founded a mill in 1907 in Westrhauderfehn.
His son and also the same-named grandson Enno learned in the Ramsloher mill the miller craft from the bottom up.
