If you look closely, you'll see that they were just pretending to be "filthy rich." The house is made of red brick, painted black, and the joints are painted. This former brewery from 1548 is decorated not only with the Taustein, but also with clay medallions depicting the story of Samson and the Lion from the Old Testament.
The Renaissance building from 1548 was initially used as a Lüneburg brewery for around 350 years. Throughout its history it has also served as an inn, retail store and state bank. Today the Lüneburg-Wolfsburg-City Chamber of Industry and Commerce has its headquarters here.

A magnificent building whose color scheme stands out from the others. It's very beautiful to look at.
