Glacial dry valley. After the glaciers have melted and the subsoil has thawed, the stream in the Leinleiter valley usually flows underground and only comes to the surface at the end of the valley at the Heroldsmühle. Only after heavy and prolonged rainfall does the creek flow on the surface for a short time.
