According to Wikipedia, the dam has a height of 14 m and a crown length of 550 m. It is an earth dam with an asphalt concrete outer seal. The highest measured water depth is 12 m, but an average of 7.50 m in summer and an average of 5.50 m in winter. The pent-up water area is a maximum of 125 hectares with a lake length of 3.6 km. The Kinzig reservoir holds up to 7.2 million cubic meters of water. From the dam you have the best view over the lake.
