Hiking
Yes, of course I didn't see or hear any migrating cranes in July. But I'm already looking forward to autumn when they come back and fly south-west again over the Ruhr area to spend the winter in southern Europe and North Africa. Cranes have been doing this for 10,000s of years. This is fascinating and I hope they can continue their annual flights for a long time to come.
