Climb this observation tower and get on the trail of a big scam: the Resterheide is not a heath at all!
The name is misleading, because most of the heath has long since been converted into farmland and coniferous forests. From up here you have a beautiful view of the whole landscape with the wrong name, but especially of the Begijnenteiche. Don't forget your binoculars for a better view of the many waterfowl.

A fairly high viewing hut. The construction is made of wood, but the stairs are made of metal (grid structure, so not solid) and can sometimes be a bit slippery.
