From the 1970s, these towers (BT-9 or BT-2x2) with a square cross-section of 2x2m were erected for security reasons.
The observation pulpit was integrated into the tower and a searchlight was installed on the roof as well as an antenna system. The tower was connected to the electricity and border reporting network.
