The Roman Catholic parish church Eibenstein is located on a hill on the Thaya opposite the castle ruins. It is consecrated to Saint Giles and is subordinate to the Geras deanery. It was first mentioned in documents in 1300. A beautiful wall painting from the late 16th century was uncovered in 1975.
