There is not much to see. But the rocks alone are worth a visit

Hohen Genkingen Castle, also called Genkingen Castle, used to stand here. However, you need a lot of imagination to be able to imagine what it looked like.
Today there are only a few stones left that you would not assign to a castle as an ordinary tourist. But still a beautiful piece of nature where you can let your imagination run wild.
The last 500m of the trail are just a hiking trail. We parked our bikes after a little more than half and continued on foot.

The terrain leading to the Ruins of Hohengenkingen is primarily forested paths. Where can I park when visiting the Ruins of Hohengenkingen?

While there isn't a large, dedicated parking lot directly at the ruins, visitors typically find parking in nearby areas or at trailheads leading to the site. Many choose to park their bikes or cars a little over half a kilometer away and continue on foot for the final stretch, as the path becomes more suited for walking. Specific parking information can often be found on local tourism websites or by checking route details before your visit.

Is public transport available to reach the Ruins of Hohengenkingen?
