The beer garden of the restaurant is one of my favorite places of the Swabian Alb. Once you have experienced a sunset here, you will not be able to find out more. This is particularly impressive when you sit on the bench on the rock north of the tower. From the tower, the view extends under optimal conditions to the Alps.

On the Roßberg (869 meters) there is a lookout tower and a hiking home. The summit of the Roßberg sits on the elongated Roßfeld, which forms a mountain peninsula projecting far into the Alb foreland. Up here you have the feeling of freedom and lightness. The view from the top of the hilltop, or from the hostel and from the tower platform is great and a special experience on a clear night. Occasionally, even the peaks of the Alpine chain can be seen. The view of the Albtrauf looks like a beautiful landscape painting. In order to enjoy the special night view or the early morning mood, it is advisable to spend the night in the hiking house. There are several rooms available for this purpose.
Mo., Tue .: day of rest except public holidays.
Wed. to Sun. from 11:00 to 20:00
    and by appointment.

The Rossberghaus is a hiking center of the Swabian Albverein, where you can spend the night. Open all year Wed - Sun from 11 am to 8 pm. From the observation tower you have a fantastic view over the Albrand and on clear days even up to the Alps.

With a bit of luck you can even find orchids here up to the Roßberg, which are native to the Swabian Alps. 🥀

The highest mountain in the Reutlingen district at 869 meters is a popular excursion destination. A hike to the top is rewarded with a stop in the cozy restaurant. The imposing observation tower offers an incomparable view over the edge of the Swabian Alb and on a clear day even as far as the Alps.

From the Rossberg you can hike nicely over the Bolberg. The poor meadow is preserved on the plateau and rare plants can be found. Recommended for every season. Coming from the valley, you can also easily climb up from Öschingen

A visit up here is always worthwhile As recently as again, good gastronomy 😋
    In summer with beer garden🍺
You absolutely have to climb the tower because you have a brilliant view in clear weather up to the Alps👍 in autumn especially great when everything is in the fog below and you can look from above in bright 🌞sunshine over the "sea of fog", fog images are set 👍
