Best Hikes to Letteraner Windmill

Tips

  • The four-storey Letteraner windmill was built in 1813 when a small water mill that had been in operation up until then could no longer meet the demands of the steadily growing population. It is a cap windmill. With this type, the substructure is fixed and only the canopy is turned into the wind. The windmill reaches a height of more than 25 meters with its wings and is now a monument. It can be viewed from the outside.
There is a rest area with loungers nearby.
