The one-storey rococo building, built in the years 1734-1739 as an independent small hunting lodge for pheasant hunting in the Nymphenburg Palace Park, was given to his wife Amalie by Elector Karl Albrecht. Inside, next to the magnificent hall of mirrors, is a kitchen made of blue and white Chinese-style tiles. A platform with an elaborate latticework, which is attached to the building in the middle of the roof, served as a perch for pheasant hunting.
