A small chapel that was built directly on the city wall. It is located in the street Am Bildchen and is often overlooked because of the city wall and the adjoining tower. A look into the chapel is worthwhile.

Road cycling

The Marienkapelle was built around 1810 in a tower of the city fortifications. The brick building is crowned by a half-lantern made of wood with a tent roof on which a tinny figure of Mary is enthroned. The four pillars of the white wooden altar frame the image of grace of the Pieta.
