On sh-kunst.de/hd-schrader-kubushochzeit-2 you can read about the work of art:

"Geometry was the inspiration for this wedding: three bright red cuboids form the basis for the work of art by sculptor HD Schrader, which is located in front of the Alwin Lensch School in Niebüll. The“ cube wedding ”is a construction based on clear rules, from which an exciting and dynamic sculpture has emerged. The smallest cube has the shape of a cube, so it has the same edge lengths everywhere. Two opposite sides are open, the other four consist of painted steel surfaces. The second cube has the same, square base, but is exactly twice as high. The third cube is correspondingly three times as high, also with a square base. The two larger cubes are also open on two opposite sides. The rules also include the order of the size and the rotation of the bodies .

The artist has canted and hooked the three bodies so that they penetrate each other, almost like the links of a chain. The result is an overall shape that is hardly reminiscent of the very simple and strict cuboid. Rather, it gives the impression that the entire steel sculpture is in motion and is about to fall. As you walk around the body, you can see new overlays of surfaces and lines, and the same red hue always looks different on each section, depending on the perspective. A second version of the cube wedding can be found in Bad Oldesloe: It is built according to the same principle, but achieves a completely different effect through the changed arrangement of the elements. The sculpture “Cube Wedding” (1999) by the sculptor, painter and graphic artist HD Schrader (*1945) in front of the Alwin Lensch Elementary School arranges three red, nested, partially open, stereometric shapes in such a way that they are held in an unstable balance become. The sculptural system appears as spatial as it “acts” in different directions. It puts the viewer in constant motion.
