Hiking

First mentioned in 1444. The mill with gatehouse marks the end of the Upper Freedom to the Lower Freedom. The building was converted into a defensive structure and served to protect the castle in times of need. In 1910 the water wheel was replaced by a turbine. In 1963 the mill was purchased by Count Landsberg and became the property of the Beyer family. It operated as a mill until the end of the 1960s, then only as a farm shop. Since 1999 the mill has only been used for residential purposes.
