A small church had already stood at this point, but had to be demolished due to poor foundations. The new church, built as a Reformed house of worship, was built in the classicist style in 1788-89. The baroque pulpit (1725) and parts of the gallery were removed from the old church and built into the new church. The church windows were designed in 1934 by glass painter Kölbel from Kaiserslautern and show the holidays of Christmas, Good Friday and Easter. A baroque roof dome crowns the church tower.
