Þúfa is located by the Reykjavik harbor. The word “þúfa” in Icelandic means a tussock, but it can also mean a small mountain or a hillock. On the top is a shed for drying fish.
Þúfa is 26 X 8 meters high. The work was commissioned by the fish factory HB Grandi in 2013.

Interesting Work. A narrow path circles up the steep hill (unfortunately not fully intact at the start anymore). On the top you find a couple of stones to sit on, a shed with dried fish and a great view over to the harbour, harpa and the mountain range in the north.
And yes, it smells lee of the shelter.
