The suspension bridge is one of four structures made of Corten steel that give visitors the opportunity to experience the Plima Gorge up close. Corten steel is weatherproof structural steel that forms a very special patina after a few weeks of weathering, which forms a protective layer and prevents the steel from rusting through.
The high net-like side walls of the suspension bridge serve to secure ski tourers in winter when there is high snowfall, and thus to be able to reach some tour destinations faster and without detours in winter

A little higher is the old dam wall, a detour here is worthwhile, unfortunately only husband and son tackled it.
At the start of the tour there is also a great former hotel, which is also worth a detour to see it up close.

Very unusual, varied place with several 'attractions' directly at the Zufallhütte. Better maybe during the week, very popular destination.

An impressive metal construction with great views, on both sides of the bridge.

The suspension bridge makes a stable impression and doesn't wobble too much, which is "pleasant" for people with a fear of heights.
