died: March 8th, 199 in Gries/Bozen
was a German master miller and mechanical engineer. Hedrich owned mills and factories 🏭 in Glauchau, Ottensen-Neumühlen and Budapest. Hedrich was buried in the mausoleum in the Glauchau cemetery.

In 1884, the owner of the castle mill, Carl Hedrich, erected a memorial column with a water cascade in honor of Count Richard Clemens von Schönburg-Glauchau. It was also intended as a memorial to the Counts of Schönburg, which was expressed by the plaque on the base. The column was a special type of fountain. The water splashed down over the edge of the raised bowl. The impressive spectacle of the waterfall was an attraction not only for the town's citizens, but also attracted visitors.
