The Kalterer See biotope with its unique habitats is one of the last extensive wetlands in South Tyrol's intensively used valley floor. About 1/3 of the lake belong to it. Here you can walk over wooden walkways through the reed grass. There are many birdies to be found: As it turns out, the biotope is a bird sanctuary where you can watch many birds.
