This church houses the tomb with the remains of Saint Genevieve, the patron saint of Paris. Furthermore, on both sides of the entrance to the presbytery, there are the tombs of two illustrious figures: Blaise Pascal and Jean Racine.

The Saint-Etienne-du-Mont church is located in the Quartier Latin in Paris, in the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève (neighborhood on a hill of the same name), a stone's throw from the Panthéon. The church that the visitor can appreciate today is from the late 15th century, but its history begins in the 6th century. Do not miss: its jubé (gallery like a gallery, between the nave and the choir) (1545), last in Paris, the reliquary of Sainte-Geneviève and the great grandstand organ. The church is listed as a historical monument.
