Great location and wonderful ambience. The cake was delicious. The service was very nice. It was open on Saturday afternoons.

The Forellenhof is in a great location in the valley near Schwelentrup. We drank coffee there several times, including on hikes. It's very cozy both in the building and in the garden. The garden is beautiful and tastefully laid out. Coffee and cake are delicious and the staff very friendly. However, you should note that you can usually only pay in cash. Unfortunately we didn't have any cash with us today, but they were accommodating enough to allow us to drink coffee on account, which we transferred immediately.
If you are interested, please check the website to see if the coffee shop is open. That is not the case every day.
