Here (50m further above) the body of Horst Fenger, who had been missing since March 20th, 2013, was found on May 18th, 2015 during forest work. The sexton's husband, then 74 years old, had dementia and probably lost his bearings in the snow and was probably frozen to death, they say. A large-scale search with helicopters and a dog squadron could not find him in the rough, snow-covered brambles and raspberries.
