The St. Rochus chapel is one of the Sauerland soul places. It stands on the pass between the Lückelheimerhöhe and the Steltenberg. Inside you can still see fragments of the 17th-century wall painting. The chapel symbolizes the theme of perseverance.

On the Steltenberg, the St. Rochus Chapel stands for the Holy 5 Wounds. From the St. Peter and Paul parish church, the St. Rochus Weg is lined with fourteen stations of the cross. In 1637, the residents of Eslohe vowed to build this chapel to beg the end of the then raging plague. In 1647 the chapel was consecrated. It is adorned with a valuable baroque wall painting and houses a gallery parapet from 1637 and a bronze bell from 1769.

At the back of the chapel there is a small window with a wooden door, through which one can take a look inside even when the chapel is closed.
