Arrogant and backward. I can't think of anything else to describe it. Hikers with bulging backpacks are welcome, but mountain bikers who like to stop in and enjoy a bite to eat are practically shut out. A tragedy for the local restaurants.
Why can't wide forest paths be shared by hikers and mountain bikers, and can't parallel trails be divided sensibly? Because it's always been that way?

But be careful...on sunny days, there are lots of hikers out and about...and the paths aren't very wide...but on slightly rainy days, you're (almost) alone 🤗.
