Park of Generations

The park was laid out in 2009 on an industrial wasteland for the state horticultural show.

With the preparations for the 5th Saxon State Garden Show, which took place in Reichenbach from May to October 2009, a 14-hectare industrial wasteland was transformed into a green oasis, today's Park of Generations.The successful architecture of the garden complex, which consists of four sections, and the renovated historic building are perfected by works of art made of wood, stone and metal.The people of Reichenbach and their guests like to spend time in the extensive park area, just relax and take advantage of the wide range of games, sports and cultural activities. A bike and skater path leads across the area and on to the Göltzschtalbrücke or to Heinsdorfergrund.Access to the park is free. The park was created in 2009 for the Saxon State Horticultural Show and now invites you to stroll and linger. Lovingly landscaped flower beds are pleasing to the eye, and several playgrounds delight children of different ages.
